1. Beaded Garland – Amazon, $16.99

These beaded garland is great for decorating any shelf, table or mantle. It adds texture and dimension to wherever you put it. Wrap it around vases, lay it on top of a stack or books or drape it around decor pieces.

2. Easy Tank Top – Target, $8 or 2 for $14

These tanks are my absolute favorites! They are long enough to cover the back side and are a flowy fit. An easy top to throw on with any shorts or pants. Buy all the colors, you will love these tanks! They run true to size.

3. Universal Thread High Rise White Shorts, Target, $17.99

These white shorts are not only affordable but they are way better than some of the expensive white shorts I have tried. They are not see through, they have some stretch to them making them super comfortable. These shorts have a 4 inch inseam and cover the back side completely (even when bending over!) They run true to size.

4. Gold Metal Bracelet Stack – Target, $12.99

Bracelet stacks are a must right now! I wear this bracelet set every day. Comes in a set of 5 bracelets in both gold and silver. Can easily be layered with other bracelets. Easy way to dress up any outfit.

5. Layered Gold Necklace – Target, $14.99

Another piece of jewelry that I wear every day. An affordable version of the layered necklace trend. I love how the gold on this necklace is not super shiny and is more subtle. Literally goes with any outfit!

6. Sleeveless Tank Dress – Walmart, $9.96

This tank dress is so easy to throw on for summer days. Comes in a few solid color options and also a striped version here. This dress can be styled so many ways for summer and into fall. Throw on a denim jacket or cardigan over top, tie a jacket around your waist, or belt it with a belt. The possibilities are endless. A great staple piece for any closet, especially for under $10.

7. Footbed Sandal – Walmart, $14.98

The comfiest sandal I own. For under $15, these sandals are a steal. They are a dupe for a MUCH more expensive brand and live up to the hype. Comes in a few colors but they sell out quickly after restocks. These are my go-to throw on and go shoes. The quality is great and they hold up really well.

8. Outdoor Rug – Walmart, $44 for the 5 x 7

I have this rug in two sizes on our outdoor patio. I love the design and the neutral colors. It looks great under our patio set and has held up nicely in the rain and elements. It is currently on rollback so its a great time to snag one!

9. Long Sleeve Tunic Sweatshirt – Walmart, $12.96

I absolutely long this tunic length sweatshirt! It’s a great lightweight sweatshirt and it’s longer in the back to cover the tush with leggings. A great athleisure piece to wear with bike shorts. Comes in a few different color options but sell out quickly after they restock. Runs true to size.

10. High Rise Super Skinny Ankle Jeans – Abercrombie, $79 (often on sale)

These button fly skinny ankle jeans are the best. Stretchy and great quality. They run true to size and are a great length for even petites! I am 5’4″ and these hit me right at the ankle bone. The light wash is perfect for summer but can also take you into fall as well! Abercrombie jeans have a huge following and it’s easy to see why!

Wedding Guest Dresses under $150 + Giveaway!

One of the most asked questions I get is where do I find a wedding guest dress. Nordstrom is always my go to for a wedding guest dress because they have a ton of dresses in one place. These special events are always hard to shop for because not only are fancier dresses expensive but there are so many options. Long or short? Sequin or plain? Black or print? Sleeveless or sleeves?

Most of these questions depend on the type and location of wedding you are attending. Formal black tie wedding will obviously need a long more elegant gown where as a beach wedding warrants a flowy more casual dress. Below I am rounding up some of my top favorites from Nordstrom for under $150 (some are on sale at time of blog post and may go back up above $150).

Walmart Try On!

Walmart has been killing the fashion game lately. They have consistently put out higher quality items that are more on trend than they ever had. I am loving all the new spring arrivals. I am rounding up some of my favorites and putting them all on here in this Walmart try on post. Check back often as I will continue to add new arrivals once I try them on!

Red/Navy Leopard Print Blouse & Flare Jeans

First up- this leopard print blouse is my absolute favorite item from this entire Walmart haul. It fits perfect, runs true to size and such great quality. You would never know that it was from Walmart. It has the cutest puff sleeves and little ruffle detail on the arm. I would buy this top in every color if they made it! A definite win!

These flare jeans have been everywhere on Instagram lately. I was nervous to go back to the flare jean trend even though I loved it as a high schooler (ok, college too). These Sofia Vergara jeans did not disappoint. They do run a little big and long. I am 5’4″ and I had to size down 1 and get the short version. So if you are much shorter than I am you would need some serious heels for these pants but otherwise they are fantastic. The hug you in all the right places and make your legs look so long!

Floral Midi Length Wrap Dress

This long sleeved floral wrap dress is amazing. The quality is great and it fits me really well. It does run true to size – I went down to an XS which is equivalent to a size 0/2. The small above was a tad big in the chest area but otherwise still fit pretty good. It has buttons and snaps everywhere so nothing will be exposed even if you bend over to pick something up! Super cute for an Easter or spring dress.

These boyfriend tees are another favorite from the try on. They are currently sold out online but my store had plenty left. Fingers crossed that they restock these bad boys because they are super comfortable and cute!

These shorts fit so well and even have a little stretch to them. The inseam is perfect at around 4 inches. I feel completely covered in these and they are super comfortable.

These sandals are selling out quickly because they are that good. Super comfortable and a throwback to those Birkenstock’s we all loved way back when!

This black blouse was only $11 at the time this was post went live. It is worth so much more! So flowy and comfortable with a little boho vibe to it. Runs true to size and looks great with jeans, black pants or shorts!

Also, these black mules are my all time favorite Walmart purchase. So comfortable and I wear them literally everyday. Snag these before they are gone!

Amazon Try On!

Amazon is definitely hit or miss with fashion items but here I am rounding up my top favorites for February! I found some amazing swimsuits, sweatshirts, tunic tops and dresses. All of these items are perfect for our transition season and will take you into the spring and summer. All great quality and pieces that I personally own. Leopard Hoodie (true to size) // Black Jeans // Sneakers

This lightweight leopard print hoodie is a must! It fits true to size and would be perfect with shorts as the weather gets warmer. It’s a great stretchy, lightweight material.

Tunic Top (true to size) // Black Jeans // Denim Jacket // Mules // Bracelet

This tunic top is another closet must have! It runs true to size and comes in tons of colors. The white is not see through and looks great on its own or layered with a jacket or pullover. This top is also legging friendly with both the front and back covered!

Dress (true to size) // Denim Jacket // Heels // Sneakers

This bodycon dress is my absolute favorite. I love it more than the Nordstrom version because it is fully lined in the front and back (Nordstrom version is only lined in the front!) It fits true to size and is a great lightweight, stretchy material that is super flattering. This would also be super cute with a baby bump for all you expecting mamas!

Dress (True to size) // Sandals

I have had this wrap dress for a while now and it’s still one of my favorites! Great material and super comfortable. Love how the top is fully covered and the bottom has a flattering slit. You can use the belt provided or switch it out with a different one! Runs true to size.

Swimsuit (true to size) // Sandals

This is the one piece swimsuit of my dreams! So flattering and well made. Under $30 and comes in a pink stripe as well. It is fully lined front and back and the straps are adjustable. The booty coverage is good in the back, not cheeky! Highly recommend this one if you are in the market for a cute one piece!

Swimsuit (runs small- size up 1 or 2)

My absolute favorite Amazon one piece. This suit is magic. Sucks everything in and so flattering on so many body types. This suit runs super small so size up 1 or 2 sizes (I am in the 8 which is equal to a size 2 in regular clothing). Comes in tons of colors and is fully lined front and back.

10 Ways To Style A Denim Jacket!

Denim jackets are definitely a closet staple. I currently own both a medium wash and a light wash denim jacket. I chose this one to style today. It is the perfect basic jean jacket and runs true to size. Its affordable but also excellent quality and will last years. The best part of denim jackets is their versatility- you can take them from work to play super easily! Check out the 11 ways I am styling this denim jacket!

Target Spring Try On!

Target is killing it with the spring line that has just launched. I’m loving all the colors, styles and selection! Check out some of my favorites below!

For reference- I am 5’4″ and usually a size 2 or small.

$15 T-Shirt Dress

Dress / Jean Jacket / Sneaker / Bracelet

This dress is so comfy and cute. It does run big so if you are in between sizes I would size down! I am wearing the xs and have room. It is not overly short and I felt completely covered and comfortable. SO cute with a denim jacket and sneakers!

Navy Striped Jumpsuit

Jumpsuit / Sandals / Bracelet

This under $30 jumpsuit is a show stopper! It makes my legs look a mile long and is super flattering. I sized down to an xs in this one as well. It is the perfect length for heels or wedges on my 5’4″ frame but could work with lots of different heights!

Pink Pullover Jacket

Pullover / Long Sleeve Tee / Jeans / Sneakers

I am in love with the color of this $30 pullover for spring (or anytime) and the material on this one is insanely soft. I sized up to a MEDIUM for more length and it is perfect. Such a great spring staple with jeans and sneakers!

Striped Pajama Set

Pajama Top (could be work as a shirt too!) / Pajama Shorts / Pajama Bottoms

This pajama top could easily double as a plush tee and would look super cute with jeans as well. It is made from unbelievably soft material and is the perfect fit. Im wearing my normal size small and it is a relaxed fit. The striped shorts are unfortunately not online at this moment but I am tagging the same ones in a solid color, you’ll have to head in store to get the shorts. The coziest pajama set I own!

The Famous V-Neck Tee

The Best Tees / Jeans / Sneakers / Bracelet

These $8 tees are super popular and for great reason. They updated the neckline this year to be not quite as low and it is a thinner band that won’t get stretched out as easily. Buy these in all the colors and patterns because they are that good!

We all have them and we all wear them everyday – black leggings. Having a good pair of black legging (or 5) in your closet is a definite must. They are a closet staple that can be styled in so many different ways, literally hundreds of ways. Here I am giving you 10 ways to style black leggings! My go to black leggings are these from Zella. These are high waisted, thick compression fabric and last forever. I highly recommend these because they are super affordable but also have high quality fabrics. They are available at both Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack – the Nordstrom Rack has a cheaper alternative but are almost exactly identical. I have a pair from both and can barely tell a difference!
