Amazon Legging Review

Amazon legging review coming your way! I rounded up the top 4 highly rated leggings on Amazon and tested them out for myself! Being a savvy shopper on Amazon can be tough since the amount of product on the site is overwhelming. Reviews are your best bet at finding those hidden gems. The more 4 and 5 star reviews the better, also be sure to check out pictures and comments for more in depth reviews!

For this Amazon legging review, I chose the top rated pairs on Amazon under $40. I chose a shade of gray for all of them and ordered them all in a size small, my normal size so that I could get a good comparison of fit and color! For reference I am 5’4″ and usually a size 2. I’ll start with my favorite and work my way down! (They are all great, hence the great reviews but I had the tough job of ranking them!)

1st PLACE: The Hands Down Winner

Fit true to size

These high waisted leggings were my absolute favorite by a landslide. The fit is perfect (true to size) and the length was not long on me. The fabric was the perfect amount of stretch and compression without being uncomfortable. The perfectly placed dots made it look like I had more muscle tone than I actually do AND it made me look like I had a booty. Hold the phone while I order 10 more. But for real, these leggings were everything I was looking for in a good athleisure legging.

2nd Place: Best Soft Fabric

These leggings were a close second. The fit overall was very good. The length was a little long on me at 5’4″ but not too bad. I loved the perfectly placed seams on the legs and around the bum. Super flattering for any body shape or type. The fabric on these were a soft but thick fabric, not your typical slippery athletic fabric. These came in slightly less than the 1st pair at $19.95 which is super reasonable for a good pair of leggings. I love the high waist of these along with the pockets on the sides and at the waist. Nothing wrong with these, the other ones are just amazing.

3rd Place: The Best Athletic Fabric

These leggings were very similar to the 2nd place pair but the seams were not in the correct spot to make it as flattering as the other pair, which is why they came in 3rd place. The fabric on these leggings are more of a “slippery” athletic fabric, which could be better for actual working out. (I will not be testing any of these out on a run because well…I don’t run) The length on these was also a little long and not tight around the ankles like the 1st pair. Overall these are a good pair of leggings, especially if you can get them on sale for for under $15.

#4: The Best Lounge Leggings

These leggings came in last place for me because I was looking for more of a compression legging and these are more of a thin, lounge legging. The material is super soft and stretchy and they are super comfortable. The length was again a little long on me and they were baggy towards the ankle. I ordered the size “one size” but they also had a 12-24 size as well. These would be perfect for lounging around the house in or for wearing a tunic over and running errands but not so much a performance legging. These leggings also show all the “lumps and bumps” so I would stick to the darker colors!

Amazon Fall Fashion

I’m rounding up my favorite items from Amazon for the fall. We all know that Amazon is a great place to shop for cheap prices and free 2 day shipping but it can be overwhelming to search for some good quality fashion items among the thousands of products! I’m all for a good deal but I have to know that I will wear these items more than once and all of the items I am sharing can be worn throughout the season! Read on to find out my fave Amazon fall fashion items!

#1: A Good Basic Long Sleeve Tee

Every girl needs a few long sleeve basic tees in their closet. I love a good white tee for layering but it can be hard to find one that is not see through. This one is legit, I have the white and black and need to order a few more. For around $11 you really can’t beat the price! These tees run true to size and are long enough to go over your jeans.

#2: A Blanket Scarf

Blanket scarves are so versatile for the fall and winter. You can wear them so many different ways. This one comes in tons of patterns and colors and is around $14! I love the red and blue scarf with camel colored boots and jeans for the fall.

#3: A Simple Belt

I love a simple belt for the fall and this one has to be one of my favorite Amazon fall fashion items. This camel colored one can goes with everything in your closet, even with black! I also love a simple black belt which is available for the same price as well. This one is around $15 on Amazon and is very high quality for the price!

#4: Off The Shoulder Top

Comfy and trendy, sign me up! This waffle knit top is extremely soft and super cozy. I love it paired with black jeans and sneakers or mules. So easy to wear and you still look fashionable! This top fits true to size or you can size up one for an oversized fit like the model above.

#5: A Leopard Print Top

Leopard print (and all animal print) is here to stay! This long sleeve tee is so perfect for fall. It’s great quality and a thin stretchy material that makes it extremely comfortable! It runs true to size and is only around $20! Pair it with jeans, black pants, distressed denim or even with a black pleated skirt. So many ways, so little time!

#6: Long Line Cardigan

I am a sucker for all cardigans but this one is my favorite. Long line cardigans (or duster) are super popular right now and for good reason! They look great on almost everyone and really elevate your style without trying to hard. I love the colorblocking with these muted colors in this cardigan for fall. For under $30, this cardigan’s quality blew me away. Super soft and stretchy and very well made!

#7: Puff Sleeve Top

Puff sleeves is another trend that is wildly popular right now. I personally LOVE this trend the most. This affordable top (under $20) can be dressed up or down with the right bottoms and accessories. It is great quality and fits true to size to slightly small. I stuck with my normal size and it fits great. I also love this dusty rose color for the fall, so chic.

#8: A Simple Casual Dress

One of my favorite looks for the fall is a simple dress with a denim or moto jacket over top. So easy to wear and looks so put together. Pair this dress with heels, sneakers, mules- it looks great with them all! I love the gray color since it can go with both denim and black jackets as the weather gets colder!

#9: Button Down Waffle Top

This was my best seller of last year and they are back again! I own this one in the rust red color and I wore it almost every day. Super cozy and great quality for the price. I sized up one for a more oversized fit! Looks amazing with any type of denim or black jeans!

My Favorite Amazon Products and $400 Giveaway!

1. Steamer

I could not live without my steamer. I hate ironing with a passion. This steamer heat up in 45 seconds and takes all the wrinkles out so fast! My husband has even traveled with this one because he hates hotel irons and claims they ruin his clothes. I wouldn’t know because I haven’t touched an iron in years.

2. Baby Sound Machine

I know I don’t technically have a baby anymore but this thing is amazing for $9.95. It will stay on all night if you want it to or it has a timer. It is small enough to take ANYWHERE! It isn’t the loudest sound machine on the market but it has lasted us for years and I love the fact that it is so portable.

3. Egg Cooker

Well, this is turning out to be the most random list ever and we just got started! This little egg cooker is my favorite in the kitchen. It makes 6 perfect hard-boiled eggs, every time. You can adjust the water level to make the eggs to your liking (hard, medium or soft). It is so easy and so fast, with minimal clean-up. Yes, please.

4. Tinkle Razors

If you have been around these parts for awhile, you know I love a good Tinkle razor! The perfect tool for getting rid of all that unwanted hair on your face. Easy to use and so cheap! Try them out to get baby soft skin. Your makeup will go on smoother and your skin will look a lot better.

5. Magnetic Whiteboard Calendar

Another great Amazon product that I could not live without! Nothing fancy, but it keeps all of my kids activities sorted out so that I can easily see what are plans are for the month!

6. Beauty Blenders

If you do not own beauty blenders for your makeup then you need to get these. Now. They are $9 for 5 of them and they will help blend our makeup so that you are getting the full benefits of the make up without the harsh lines!

7. Milani Retouch & Erase

I can’t say enough about this little tube. It works as well, if not better than a lot of my more expensive concealers. It works so well on my dark under eye circles. I will forever buy this stuff from now on. You will not be disappointed, especially for this price!

8. Kid’s Art Kit

This art kit has been a lifesaver with my kids. Get each of your kids one of these kits and put their names on it so there is no fighting. Even my son loves having his own kit and will sit and create for a long time. They love that it has thier very own paper and easel right in the kit.

9. Snap Circuits

Snap Circuits is another great toy for kids. This is the Jr. version but they also have a pro version that is on my son’s list already! (He is 7 and can now independently build all the Jr. ones pretty quickly) start with this one since it is only about $30 and work your way up to the pro!

10. Makeup Organizer

I just ordered this from Amazon and can not wait for it to arrive! Such a great deal for a big makeup kit. It has unbelievable reviews and if it will help organize my crap, I am sold!

Amazon Jumpsuit Try On Session!!

I don’t think there is anyone who loves Amazon as much as I do. And now that they are starting to add more and more fashion items, I love them even more (not sure if that’s possible). I love the convenience of prime shipping, free returns and most importantly….their prices!! Here I am trying on my fave trend for spring and summer, JUMPSUITS! I absolutely love all of these so it was tough for me to rank them but here it goes:

#1: Racer Back Jumpsuit (mine is a size small in navy)

This was my absolute FAVORITE!! It is a dressier fabric and SO COMFORTABLE! You could really dress it up or down for any occasion. The only bad part about this one was that it was a little too long for me. (I’m 5’4″) But, I like it so much that I am keeping it and getting it hemmed to fit me. Its that good. The waist is adjustable to move up or down depending on how much or how little draping you want. The neckline is a super flattering v-neck and the back is a racerback style. If I had more than two thumbs I would give this one all of them!! LOVE! Comes in 6 different colors. Fits true to size, I’m wearing a small and that is my normal size. At the time of writing this, it is $29.99.

#2: Spaghetti Strap Jumpsuit (wearing a small in black)

I absolutely love this jumpsuit almost as much a the first one. To be honest, I will probably wear this one way more because it is much more casual than the 1st. Fits perfectly (wearing a small). The length is PERFECT (I am 5’4″). This is going to be a staple in my wardrobe this spring and summer. The fabric is super lightweight. The elastic waist can go up or down depending on how much draping you need. This is also a great way to adjust the length too! Just pull the waist up higher and the length gets shorter. Comes in 10 different colors!! And at the time of writing this it is only $22.99!!!

#3: Plaid Halter Jumpsuit (wearing a small in black)

How cute is this plaid? I love the print on this one. This was the cheapest jumpsuit at only $17.99 and you would never be able to tell. It is well made and super cute. There is not as much draping in this one so it doesn’t hide your tummy as much as the other ones do. Also, this one had elastic around the ankles which made it fit perfectly for even short girls like me! This one comes in 4 color choices. Super stylish and making my job of ranking these really tough.

#4: Short Sleeve V-Neck Jumpsuit (wearing a small in black)

My last choice is just as good as the rest, but I just wasn’t as big of a fan of the sleeves. I know tons of girls who prefer some sort of sleeve so I wanted to include this one too because it is still really cute! I am wearing a small and it fits perfectly, even in length. The fabric is a more casual fabric, almost identical to my #2 choice. The waist is adjustable and the v-neck is flattering. This would be a perfect choice for someone who wants to try the jumpsuit trent but isn’t comfortable showing off all the skin on the top! Comes in 4 color choices.
